NEW HIRES
John Clark, formerly vice president and chief counsel of NJSDA, has joined real estate practice law firm Epstein Becker & Green, to lead the construction practice in New Jersey, New York and the Northeast.
RMJM Hillier has hired Chris Jones as managing principal of the Urban Studio, Roger Klein as design principal, Winslow Kosior and John Plappert as associate principal.
Jason Vigneri-Beane has joined Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, Architecture & Engineering, P.C. as a designer and Chris Gaylord has rejoined the firm in Construction Administration.
Michael Giaramita has joined the New York City office of engineering consulting firm Stantec as a senior principal.
Sandra Escobar has been hired by BL Companies—an architecture, engineering and planning firm in Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York—as an architectural designer.

David Phillips has been promoted to senior project manager and Oliver D'Amario to Senior Estimator at the Milford, Connecticut office of Skanska USA Building Inc.
Bill Gattoni has been elevated to vice president of Operations and Jackson Kinzer to vice president of Program Management, both in Federal and Nuclear Services Division at Burns and Roe Group—an engineering, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance organization in New Jersey.
George Chin has been promoted to principal at Sydness Architects in New York City.

Engineering and design firm Thornton Tomasetti, Inc., has established the Thornton Tomasetti Foundation, a nonprofit to support education and community outreach activities of young engineers and architects.
The American Council of Independent Laboratories has awarded H2M Labs, Inc with the Seal of Excellence Award for the eighth consecutive year.
Engineering firm Intertech Associates in Freehold received an Honor Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey 2008 Engineering Excellence Award competition and is a Finalist in the National Competition.
