NEW HIRES
T. Albert Chen has joined Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. as vice president.
HAKS, a construction management, engineering, architecture, land surveying and material testing firm in New York City, has hired Howard Kronland as vice president and chief architect, Rafik Moawad as vice president of the Infrastructure Department and Paul Pearson as vice president to lead the firm’s facilities design efforts.
Konover Construction Corporation has appointed Chris-Philip Onofrio director of business development for the company’s Connecticut and Maryland offices.

Bill Flemming has been promoted to co-chief operating officer of Skanska USA Building Inc. and will oversee Boston, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey operations.
