Michael Holloway has joined
Plaza Construction Company as a vice president and head of
its newly created residential division. He will oversee day-to-day
operations of multi-family projects. Holloway comes from Gotham
Construction, where he was president for five years.
The Port Authority of New York
and New Jersey has filled two top posts. Kenneth
Ringler Jr. is the new executive director, nominated
by New York Gov. George Pataki. Ringler had most recently
served as the New York State Commissioner of General Services.
James Fox has joined as deputy executive director.
He had most recently served as chief of staff to former New
Jersey Gov. James McGreevey, who resigned in November.
Steve Greene has been promoted
to area general manager of New Jersey operations at Skanska
USA Building Inc.
Donald Landau has joined the
Olnick Organization as vice president of construction.
Mary Williamson has been named
director of business development in New York for Brennan Beer
Gorman Architects and Brennan Beer Gorman Monk Interiors.
Joseph R. Loring & Associates
Inc. has promoted Michael DesRochers,
P.E., to executive vice president and Steven
Kenah, P.E. to senior vice president. Kenah has also
been appointed to the board of directors.
Frederic Bland, FAIA, has been
named managing partner of Beyer Blinder Bell Architects and
Planners LLP.
Christopher Marcinkoski, a
2004 graduate of Yale University in urban design studies,
is the winner of the $7,500 Skidmore, Owings & Merrill
Foundation Urban Design Traveling Fellowship for his project
to study airport terminals.
Jack Rudin and his late brother
Lew Rudin of the prominent real
estate and development family have been inducted into the
Scout's Camping Hall of Fame by the Greater New York Councils
of the Boy Scouts of America.
Robert Brownstein, principal
consultant with PB Consult in New York, was named 2004 Outstanding
Public Transportation Business Member by the American Public
Transportation Association.
