Michael Feigin has moved up to the newly created post
of chief administrative officer for Bovis Lend Lease Americas.
He had most recently been executive vice president and chief
legal and commercial officer, and is keeping those responsibilities,
while adding oversight of communications, human resources,
information technology, insurance, and risk management. He
is also president of Canopy, Inc., a Lend Lease insurance
arm.
Larry Convery has joined Skanska USA Building Inc.
in Parsippany, N.J. as vice president of business development,
focusing on the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
STV Inc. has brought on Robert Davidson as senior
vice president to direct the firm's national aviation and
transportation facilities practice and Ted Kleiner
as vice president focusing on program management and facility
planning. Davidson comes from a post as chief architect of
the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and Kleiner
retired recently from the same agency. Both are in New York.
Anthony Guzzi has taken on the posts of president
and COO for EMCOR Group in Norwalk, Conn. He is responsible
for day-to-day operations at the company focused on mechanical
and electrical construction, energy infrastructure, and facilities
services. He had most recently held senior executive roles
at United Technologies Corporation.
Robert Ballard has joined Burns and Roe Group of Oradell,
N.J., as vice president of the industrial and infrastructure
division. He had most recently been a senior executive for
PB Power Inc.
Seth Weinstein has launched and is principal of Hannah
Real Estate Investors, a new company focused on development
in the New York and Connecticut marketplaces. He had previously
co-founded Clearview Investment Management, a development
firm that he later sold.
Tom Lurcott has moved up to the role of principal
at Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, the architecture and engineering
firm based in Albany, N.Y. He works from its New York City
office, overseeing financial matters, project management,
scheduling, and staffing. He has been with the firm since
2003.
Kevin McMahon has been elected to the New Jersey State
Chamber of Commerce's board of directors for a three-year
term. He is chairman and CEO of Edwards and Kelcey, an engineering,
design, planning, and construction management firm based in
Morristown, N.J.
Timothy O'Connor, president and CEO of Robson Woese,
Inc., has accepted the Design Industry Outstanding CEO of
the Year award for medium-sized firms from PSMJ Resources
Inc. of Newton, Mass. The award recognizes outstanding leadership
and achievement in design firms. Robson of Syracuse, N.Y.,
offers consulting, program management, engineering, and construction
services.
Frank Ross Jr., senior vice president of HRH Construction,
recently accepted a "Role Model" award recognizing
his accomplishments in the construction industry from the
Columbus Alliance, an association of Italian American professionals.
American ORT's Engineering and Construction Industry Chapter
has given its Community Achievement Gary LaBarbera,
president of Local 282, International Brotherhood of Teamsters,
and Katherine Lapp, executive director of the New York
State Metropolitan Transit Authority.
