Names in the News - August 2004

Tishman Construction Corporation announced the promotion of two executives to the firm's executive management team. John Livingston was promoted to president and Jay Badame was promoted to chief operating officer of TCC Eastern Region.


David Gockel, P.E., P.P., was named president of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services and will be responsible for day-to-day operations. Bernard Langan, P.E., has assumed the position of chairman of the board.


Charles McClafferty joined Kushner Companies as chief financial officer. He was formerly chief financial officer at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.


Maria Wilpon, AIA, was named principal of Helpern Architects.


J. David Milazzo was named chairman of the New Jersey Building and Construction Trades Council Apprentice Coordinators Committee.


Cannon Design announced several promotions and new hires. Keith Alf, AIA, and Carol Case Siracuse, AIA, were named vice presidents. David Hingston, AIA, joined the firm as principal and Magdy Youssef, associate AIA, joined as vice president. Dennis Rigosu and Robert March joined the firm.


Mark Gold was named director of real estate for Silvercup Studios and will manage real estate development projects.


Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, Inc. named Paul Nietzschmann and James Guinan as vice president.


Severud Associates Consulting Engineers announced that Dominic Cullen, P.E., Elizabeth First, P.E., James Moran, P.E., and Jean Marie Sokalsky, P.E. were named associates.


Terry Foxon, C.E.I., joined Gannett Fleming Transit & Rail Systems as director of catenary.


Alfred Kovalik was named a senior associate of Leggette, Brashears & Graham, Inc.


John C. Chadwick, AIA, RIBA, was named principal of Perkins Eastman.
