A Changing Workforce

In fifty years (chosen because neither I nor anybody I know will be alive by then) the construction industry will have a radically different aspect in comparison to 2002. The work force, for example, will have incorporated the immigrants now probing for admission at its margins; their grandchildren will go on to universities or have their own businesses and the industry will be looking for a fresh infusion of workers beyond the African-Americans/Hispanics/Asians who dominate the skilled trades in 2052.
